El pastor trashumante José Manuel Sánchez, ha explicado que durante los próximos 40 días, recorrerá "aproximadamente" los 600 kilómetros que existen entre su finca ubicada en Huertas de Ánimas (Cáceres) y León, junto a su rebaño compuesto por 1.500 ovejas, para "huir" de las altas temperaturas del verano en Extremadura. "En Extremadura, una vez que se seque, comen lo que les eches de pienso mientras que allí comen todo lo que quieran", ha dicho el pastor.
